    Week 1 Injury Reports

That used to be the case but the league simplified the injury designations this year. So now "questionable" also includes all players that would have been listed as "probable" in the past. It makes the injury reports a lot harder to parse.

    Sweezy or Okung?

I think Okung and Irvin are more likely to result in 4th round comps if they sign elsewhere. They would need to get to at least the 10+ million/year range needed for a 3rd round comp. Okung may be closer, but I have strong doubts he'll be able to get that much given his injury history.

    Back to back 10am games

Ugh, there's no conspiracy. In fact, I think we were lucky not to get scheduled on either Saturday. Would much rather play the early game on Sunday rather than be the road team playing on a short week.

Biggest fear or Concern going into Carolina

Their linebackers swallowing up our newfound spread quick passing offense.

    Associated Press All-Pro Team

Those numbers aren't useful for comparing cornerbacks. Stats like tackles or pass defenses are highly dependent on scheme, targets, and quality of opposing receivers. Here's another comparison you could make: Sherman: 33 solo tackles, 14 PD, 2 Int Robert Alford: 45 solo tackles, 15 PD, 2 Int...

Terry Blount shows off his Seahawk wisdom.

I think Sheil Kapadia has been fantastic so far, even better than Sando. A lot of well-written, thoughtful, and insightful articles. A complete contrast to Blount's bland and generic pieces.

    Williams released

Haha. At least you, like Schneider and Carroll, can objectively evaluate your mistakes and cut bait without hesitation.

    Paul Richardson to season-ending IR.

Wow, what a letdown. I love him as a receiver but at this point it seems like he's just too injury prone to ever be able to count on him as a consistent contributor. I hope he's able to have a long and productive career, but at this point I'm doubtful.

I think Graham Just Played Last Game Here

I think his contact was only guaranteed for injury this year. Next year they can cut him with zero dead money repercussions even if he is still injured.

    Goodbye ADB, Hello Doug Baldwin

What a game. He's now on pace for about 1000 yds and 9 tds and will probably see a few more targets with Graham out.

    Sherman

He seems to really relish competing against the best. Really stepped up his game today and did the same thing to Dez earlier this year.

$$$. Freeing up Graham's salary would allow us to re-sign some of our free agents. If your options are an injured Graham next year for $9 million or, for example, bringing back Irvin and Sweezy, what do you choose?

League should investigate Ben's concussion protocol

In this case I didn't even realize he took a bad hit to the head or think he looked obviously concussed at the time. It looked like the team only found out after he told them about the hit on the sideline. There's only so much the team can do if the player isn't forthcoming or proactive about...

I think Graham Just Played Last Game Here

It's certainly possible. It'll depend on how he's able to recover from the injury. His contract has zero remaining guaranteed money left on it so the team can cut him without penalty. I certainly hope that he's able to make a full recovery, but what if he doesn't? Is it worth paying $9 million...

C Mike traded to Dallas for Conditional 7th rounder

I gave up on Michael this preseason. Kept holding out hope that he would figure it out, but it just never happened. He has all the talent in the world but absolutely zero football smarts, which isn't going to get you far on this team. I'm glad he's going to a great situation. He'll definitely...
