Perhaps what I loved most about Coach Carroll was his player-first mentality. It really was all about the people in which he served; his attitude and his work echoed this to the fullest extent. While I doubt that he will ever read my message to him, I sent him a letter of appreciation...
Thinking Koren Robinson was going to be an all-time great and naming my son after him. I still have never told him where I got his name from. I sure as hell haven't told the wife...
First off, I HATE the idea of trading our franchise QB and future HOFer.
If you had to twist my arm, I would prefer trade #4 with #2 a very close 2nd. The idea of landing a QB in Donald with his type of skillset is very tempting. If the Seahawks made this trade, it would speak volumes...
There are things about this Seahawks team that are incredible. Then again, when you line up a near NFL-worst DL/OL, you are going to struggle to win close games. While we will battle for the division down the stretch, I don't think that we will have what it takes to win it. Give us a 10-6...
Not just no on AB, a HELL NO. He is an absolute cancer to the locker room. No way he will be ok with being the third WR option on this offense. Stay very far away.
Let the media underestimate him. In the scheme of things, the only thing that really matters is his ability to consistently win. Wilson is easily a top 10 player of the decade and arguably a top 3.
With our porous defense and with the potential loss of Dunbar, I can see us regressing to 9-7. Last year we had far too many games of luck. If it were not for a couple of missed kicks, we would not have been in the playoffs. My prediction is that it comes back to bite us this year.
At this point, I would rather the Seahawks move on from Clowney and either sign Griffin, or make a move to trade for Yannick Ngokoue (preferably both). Ngokoue may be the better pure pash rusher anyways and would certainly fit our gaping hole at that position all while filling a long-term need.
I was born the year after the Seahawks came to town. I became a fan shortly after moving to Washington in the 90's and have been a quiet fan of this site long before I signed up for an account.
HUGE Seahawks, Mariners and UW fan.
