I'm still not convinced the Saints game had any calls in there that were clearly wrong. I actually agreed with all of them, despite them all going against the Seahawks. The DK fumble being the hardest to take but can see the validity in the call.
The Oakland forward progress call on the fumble...
It’s clear to me both opinions are true:
- when you don’t have destiny in your hands, you are to blame. Losing all 4 to NFC South is the root cause.
- the NFL has pulled a horrifically biased move with this scheduling that is not fair in the slightest. They should be called out by the media for...
The Denver offense is riddled with injuries on the Offensive Line and run game + WRs (think Sutton will still be out). Not sure I'd be too adamant that Denver win this week.
For a moment there in the Houston game, I thought the number 1 pick might be back on the table!
Wilson got a horrible concussion hit and left the Denver game, unsure if he will be OK to return next week. As of now, Seahawks have the number 2 pick with4 games remaining.
Broncos have Cardinals...
Sorry to be clear for those posting “Rams don’t have a first round pick”, yes you’re right their pick was traded but my point is we would slip a spot.
And yes it’s very very tight at the bottom, but no team can jump the Donkeys at this point if they lose out.
Also if bears and broncos are tied...
Given Houston look like locking up the number 1 pick with a 1-9-1 record, and given their need for a QB, the 'best' non-QB in the draft could well fall to the Seahawks at 2 (via the Broncos' pick gained from RW trade).
It seems a 2-way contest with the Bears due to their records (3-10 for Chi...
This is the issue. He never did establish control with the ball in his stomach on his back. The ball was constantly moving as he fell to the ground and the two were battling for it on the ground. Thats what replay were checking, if Jones did gain control of the ball before it being stripped, it...
for those posters shouting about a picture of control, this is NOT control when going to the ground. The examples of going out of bounds, are completely separately than when going to the ground.
IF they ruled catch on the field by Jones, I still think this is overturned on replay to an...
There is no point where he ascertains control. You must have it under control long enough to perform an act common to the game. To me the ball is always moving and the catch is never completed. Even if the ball stops moving for a micro second this is not sufficient to be deemed a catch and then...
Really not sure where all this confusion is coming from here…
As the rule is written, there was no control of the ball and so no possession was gained. The knee being down is irrelevant without control. As the ball didn’t hit the ground the interception is the correct call.
