The Seahawks have a bottom 5-10 roster. Watson wouldn't paper over that anymore then Russ did. We need to embrace the rebuild and being bad for the next 2-3 years.
I'm just so frustrated by the approach to roster building. Sleep-walking into very obvious problems at Centre and CB, flipping Damian Lewis' position after a good rookie year, consistently poor use of early round picks both in terms of player and positional choice. Urgh.
Isn't the problem with this that Pete has shown no evidence of wanting any sort of 'exotic' in his run game? If we were to build an attack like San Fran's that would be sweet, I just don't think we will be anywhere near that.
I'd just like us to keep passing on First Down a little more!
As frustrating as the second half of the season was, seeing the Seahawks with an exciting, progressive Offense and good RZ playcalling in the first few weeks was so exciting. I really don't want to go back to watching Run/Run/Pass, it's like watching someone run uphill. I have no idea what this...
I'm fine with an LB pick, I just wish they had prioritised someone who can cover. In 2020 you want your LBs to be Deion Jones, not a 2 down thumper. Though he can rush the passer apparently which is something.
