Who's 28th in passing? The Seattle Seahawks. Easily the most disappointing stat of 2018. The Hawks can't pass when they need to and it's insanely frustrating. Russ is not absolved of blame, but Schotty sucks at the passing game. Receivers aren't getting separation and Schotty can't scheme them...
It's damn tragedy what Schotty has done to Russ and this offense. Russ is arguably one of 5 or 6 QB's in the league with a legit shot at the hall of fame and Schotty has neutered him into a game manager. A friend of mine calls Russ "Russvaris Jackson." At least Tarvaris had Beastmode and a young...
Man... If (When) Earl leaves, I'll die a little inside - like when the Mariners traded Ken Griffey Jr. to the Reds.
Dude is still the best in the game. There's no way you trade Earl. You build around Earl and Wags. As long as those guys are on the field, you've got a chance.
Although I'm not a fan of Kris Richard, other than constantly giving up first downs on 3rd and long situations - the defense was actually decent before it was decimated by injuries. The Offense has NO EXCUSE. It's all Coaching/Scheme/Play calling.
Then hire that consulting service. McGloughan drafted future hall of famers. PC and JS have drafted a "few solid contributors."
Scheinder and Pete (along with Cable) get ALL the blame. Our drafts have been terrible since McGloughan left.
Scot G. McCloughan made JS look good. He built the Hawks into that back to back Super Bowl team. He's proven to be an incredible talent evaluator.
JS should hire him back now - baggage and all.
He's obviously available.

It sucks, but the Hawks are going to lose to the Rams. Injuries and poor coaching have finally caught up with the Hawks. The chickens have come home roost and the Hawks will not be playing in January this year.
Bevell gets all the hate, but Richard lacks serious creativity. Everyone knows what the Hawks are going to do in certain situations. That said, Richard does not have the tools Quinn had in 13-14, especially in the secondary. It's often overlooked how many times coverage sacks are created by a...
