    And that's half the point. Wilson doesn't seem to recognize that Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes, etc... ALL get there stats when accompanied by a strong run game. Not many QB's throw the ball all over the yard successfully without one.

    That's how I see it. Add Waldron hitting his stride with Metcalf, Lockett, Everett, Eskridge and a finally healthy Rashad Penny at his disposal, and they're the team we were expecting this year. Oh, and 60-70 million in cash to spend, if I'm not mistaken. That can buy some needed toys.

    No, I don't. I'm an unapologetic advocate for bringing the band back for one more run, minus Ken Norton at DC. I'll probably elaborate at some point but, for now, suffice it to say I've seen enough to believe next year could be what everyone hoped this year would be.

    Penny has size and speed that you can't coach into a player without. If he manages to overcome his injury history, he has a shot at being very good. Last game was a sample, but let's see how he finishes the season. If he manages to stay healthy I'd be all for bringing him back at a decent RB2 price.

    I think the way average or worse QB's carve up the Seahawks defense is a contributing factor to this type of opinion. I'd personally love to see Wilson play the Seahawks D every week.
