I also like Deebo Samuel a lot and he’s right up there in forced missed tackles. Deebo and AJ are probably the two safest WRs in the draft who are ready to step in and contribute immediately.
Big WR is a strength of this draft on par with DL. Here are a few of my favorites coming in at 6’2” and taller. A bunch of these guys will be available in round 2 but maybe not much selection at pick 21 in round 3. Ideally we could trade back from 21 for 2 second rounders.
DK Metcalf...
Hawks want to trade down and I don’t think Metcalf is an option but the WR and TE classes are deep this year so I think they pick a pass catcher later. Preston Williams has off field concerns but he profiles similar to Metcalf. Another WR who blew up the combine was Miles Boykin from Notre...
Let me start by saying that I love Dissly and I hope he returns to form after injury and I know the Seahawks can utilize multiple TEs in their run heavy scheme. I was watching what Alabama did with Irv Smith during the championship game and he is all over the field lining up on the line, slot...
Yeah I don’t know why I didn’t spell it out sorry.
Another receiver to consider with less concerns is Antoine Wesley from Texas Tech. He’s 6’5” and had an incredible junior season and appears to be a late rounder.. But he’s a 1 year wonder and needs to bulk up for the pros.
I think his ranking drops because of a torn ACL in high school but more importantly an arrest for DV with an ex gf that got him suspended from Tennessee.
The overturned muffed punt by Edelman was huge for the Pats. I don’t think he touched it but I hardly think it was clear and irrefutable, so I thought the play should have stood as called.
