Sounds like we traded our 7th round pick this year, the last tradeable pick of the draft. So, not a huge cost. Not much difference between 7th round and UDFA.
I don't quite understand, but I'll be fine if it's a conditional late round pick next year. I'd understand it more if there is a position change to WR or TE.
Agreed 100%. None of the players we've lost are irreplaceable, even Tate. The reality is in order to keep our core together, we'll need to depend on the draft for young, cheap players.
I can do both. I'm living in the moment and enjoying our victory, but I also have a win forever mindset with an eye toward the future.
