Not really his fault, he seems to try and do the work to not get injured. Sad to see a promising players young career derail because their body can't take the beating.
Definitely overpaid, but is also a position they desperately need improve. They don't need a safety the way they need a receiver so Jerry let the need override his brain.
Interesting. If true it would explain why we constantly see our online getting blown up at the point of attack. I have also heard that some of Brown's troubles where due to the depth of Wilson's drawbacks.
if I was a jerk I would go on Twitter and tell everyone of our offensive lineman who are thanking Cable that they should be apologizing to the man. Their lack of ability to do anything competently is why he was fired. If I was one of them I'd seriously be working on my craft, because the next...
I never celebrate someone losing their job, but this needed to be done. Bevel never seemed to make the best use of the talent he was provided, and Cable never was able to turn any of the o-line players we drafted for him into players who were anything more than marginal. His biggest success...
It isn't selective memory, it is the realization that he is coming of a major injury in his 30s and we don't have a lot of cap space. The team has to move on at some point.
They aren't even sure if he'll even play this season yet, so no he won't be there for the Rams. Him practicing now just means that he has a decent shot at playing this season, not that it will be soon.
If we got rid of Lane and the price was right. Not going to lie, at first when I heard he was available my knee jerk reaction was to go after him. He just hasn't played well since leaving and getting paid.
I wouldn't say that, McKissic is good but Prosise when healthy has shown to be on another level, but there is something to be said for availability. Prosise being the better player doesn't do much for us if he is never healthy.
