Twitter reacts to drafting Byron Murphy II

I was one of the first people on this site to say early on in the process that the Seahawks should absolutely take Carter. With this said, Carter was passed up by a lot of teams because of his attitude and history of issues. What I didn’t know, that came out the day after the draft was over was...

Pick #118 - LB Tyrice Knight

I bet they wanted the LB from NC State Payton Wilson with their first pick in round 4 but the Stealers took him a few picks earlier. Big miss!

    Jamal Adams whispers

Last year he was shying away from contact due to his injury history. Why sign a defender that doesn’t want to tackle?

    Any updates on Bryan Mone?

Terrible signing! Yes I believe he was cut.

    Pick #81 - G Christian Haynes

He reminds me of Rob Sims former Seahawks OL.

    Traded out

Sorry, but you can cherry pick guys that were free agents as well. It’s all about percentage chance in that round of the guys being great. Obviously as you go into the late rounds, the percentage chance lessons exponentially.

Leonard Williams or the 44th pick in round two?

100% correct. And Seattle was the highest bidder because they paid that draft capital already and did not want to have egg on their face by letting him sign somewhere else so they were forced to pay him that money. Just not a smart trade.

Leonard Williams or the 44th pick in round two?

100%. The Seahawks pigeonholed themselves because once you pay high capital in a trade for someone but don’t have them locked up, you need to be the highest bidder just so you don’t have egg on your face. You almost need to pay whatever it takes to retain that player. Think the Jamal Adams deal...

Leonard Williams or the 44th pick in round two?

For me, it’s a wait and see approach because if a guy like Powers is available at that pick, I would’ve preferred that. Additionally, I think by the time this team gets very competitive again, Leonard Williams will be passed his prime.
