    They didn't trade a 3rd round pick for a backup QB. I expect Sam to start right away. We're going nowhere with Geno. He's yesterday's news. Time to see if the new kid can cut it.

    I predict it will be a recycled name like Quinn or Canales. But it doesn't really matter -- as long as Geno is the QB, the Hawks will never get past .500. Pete bet on the wrong horse with Geno, that's why he's out.

    He is definitely not part of our future, and that's been obvious for two years. Should have cut ties with him in the off-season and found a capable backup. There is no upside to Lock. There's nothing there.

    It was a windy day outside, but I don't know how much of that strong wind got into SoFi, the air pockets are near the roof. It's a weird stadium. I think he felt he needed to get some extra juice to make a 55-yarder, and sometimes that does mess up a kicker's mechanics.
