Yeah, they were talking about him getting into his step early and being too far out in front when his swing goes through the zone. His timing is kinda screwed. Not sure why he's still batting 2nd right now. 🤷‍♂️

The most frustrating thing about Julio is that he's been largely absent, day after day and week after week, of demonstrating any physical and mental application of learned principles in batting. At least by my limited observation. As a matter of fact, he looks worse than ever.

He's paid. They won't move him down in the line up either because he's paid.

Gutsy, gritty win today. Talk about your tough pitching and timely hitting. Killed the sweep, at least. Nice bounce back game after Fri night.

Kirby on the bump tomorrow. Hope he remembers they come out swinging and starts with the breaking stuff early, very early.

Great win today! I'm really impressed with Moore. He's absolutely on fire with the bat right now

I was hoping we would win and get help from both the Brewskis and the Halos. But, Anaheim is really beginning to faceplant even harder.

I'd use Hanny as full time DH over Garver and bat Raley 3rd or 4th. Sounds crazy but I would do it. Raley is sizzling.
Last 15 days D-Mo with a spicy .900+ OPS.

My line up:
Rojas
Julio(doubt he would ever move past 3rd)
Raley
Cal
Moore
Canzone
Ty
Hanny/Garver
Urias (???? who knows about this dude he's gotta be hurt or something)
Why not call up a 3rd baseman and have Rojas play 2nd and perm sit Polanco.
Another option is when JP comes back move D-Mo to 3rd.

I remember thinking what a gauntlet Reds through Royals was going to be, only for most of the teams we faced to dramatically underperform. The Orioles and Yankees are not doing that right now. So... we'll just have to see.
What? Ms have played one of the hardest schedules in the league.

BROS Julio's swing is awful. It's reminding me kelenoc when he was really struggling. The footing. Moving around. His position right before the ball leaves he pitchers hands. Get this guy an actual coach please.
Yes, I wondering about all of this also.

It's bizarre.

Kirby off day. Halfway through the game and Ms have 1 walk and 11 strikeouts. Can't make this stuff up. Literally almost every single game they have double digit strikeouts with only 1 or 2 walks.

Kirby has not been the same this year for whatever reason(s)
Pitchers like hitters can have off years but his stuff is too good
to believe he's just off.
I hope he proves otherwise and this was nonsense.

They're just sucking y'all in with midseason competitiveness so they can go into mediocrity overdrive to disappoint in September!
They normally do that in July and/or August. Why did they start one month into the season? What are they playing at?
