2024 SEAHAWKS Depth Chart and Roster Moves

If he asked for his release that would probably negate any guarantees especially this early in the deal. I suspect we are just cutting bait here.

    Jake Bates, K, UFL

I’m not a fan of paying Myers all that dead money on the cap then bringing in someone else who may or may not be an improvement. Let’s let his contract play out and start looking to replace him in the future. We aren’t exactly a field goal away from the Super Bowl.

    The Auburn of Boom

It’s nothing personal to Auburn but there was one Legion of Boom here and as you say the Auburn phrase just doesn’t sound right. I’d kind of like to see if either even play before announcing nicknames. Either way I thin Boom is off the table

    The Auburn of Boom

I’ll hold off on assessing them until practices and preseason where we get a better idea of where they fit in our system but I just had to say that If I never hear the phrase “auburn of boom” again it’ll be too soon.

2024 SEAHAWKS Depth Chart and Roster Moves

So when do offsets count against the cap? I would assume immediately as you said they’d get credit later if they get cut and sign elsewhere. Is this leaving us enough money to sign rookies or will we have to make moves? Might we have to rework contracts, make cuts or adjust some of the offers...

2024 SEAHAWKS Depth Chart and Roster Moves

I am no expert but I like to think I can understand contract discussions but this hurt my head. I think I need to sleep and try again tomorrow. I’m definitely glad we have you here to keep it sorted for us.

    Seahawks set another NFL record!

They’ve been cutting to commercial for most of our picks for as long as I can remember.

    Leonard Taylor & James Williams

I think it’s safe to wait and see what we can do in UDFA

    Overall feelings about our draft?

I don’t think we made any big fancy splashes but this draft helps build the trenches for the future.

On the clock 207 and final?

I think we are looking at PS development with this one.

On the clock 207 and final?

And our final pick is T Mike Jerrell Nice depth on the line again

On the clock 207 and final?

I know lots of people are screaming fora qb but I really want to see us to continue to build depth in areas of weakness.

    ONE PICK LEFT AND....

I assumed we would get one in UDFA

    On the clock at 192

This guy seems more of a nickel type corner where Pritchett seems more of an outside guy. Funny that they were both from Auburn though.

    On the clock at 192

DJ James CB Didn’t see this one coming but he’s a solid value pick here
  17. kidhawk

    On the clock at 192

Do we go edge? Safety? Or depth in the trenches?
  18. kidhawk

    On the clock 179

I assume because he’s not projected a starter his availability across the line increases his value as a backup
  19. kidhawk

    On the clock 179

Laumea. Guard. I was thinking that might be the pick. Nice depth
  20. kidhawk

    On the clock 179

    Let’s build those lines
