    Best draft in years

So, thinking about what makes a "great draft", I present to you this scenario: https://www.nfl.com/draft/tracker/teams/los-angeles-rams/2014 Link will take you to the 2014 draft results for the Rams. Greg Robinson, their selection at #2 overall, flamed out. Lamarcus Joyner, their 2nd round...

    Adopt-a-Rookie (2024 Edition)

My adopt a rookie last year didn't get to play (McIntosh) so I'm wary of heading another bandwagon...but I'll start the DJ James fanclub. Think he'll be able to find a good fit within the new scheme.

    Best draft in years

For what it's worth (and of course very subjective), the Seahawks were 1 of only 3 teams to receive an 'A' grade from the draft (the other two being the Steelers and the Chiefs). https://www.nfl.com/news/2024-nfl-draft-final-quick-snap-grades-for-all-32-teams

Why is CB Tampa still on the board?

    Ravens ended up drafting him.

    Tyrice Knight --- LB UTEP

Solid tackler and high energy...I'll take it!

    Traded out

On the clock...let's see who we pick this time around!

Pick #16 - DT Byron Murphy

Just look at what the Vikings gave to the Jags....I wouldn't have traded down if that was the type of trade offers that were coming the Seahawks direction.

    Byron Murphy come on down!

    Awesome, love it!

Should the "Tush Push" be outlawed ?

No, I rather it not be outlawed and just the two lines battle it out. It can be stopped and, to my knowledge, hasn't created any season ending injuries...so keep it in the game.

How would we like to organize this forum?

Fair point as well. Maybe I'm just too OCD with how the main forum looks from time to time. I'm good to just let this run wild and see where it takes us, if that is what encourages people to post.

How would we like to organize this forum?

Interesting take. That's what we tried with the one pinned post and it seems like people wanted to split out the topics. Good point to consider though.

How would we like to organize this forum?

Hello fellow Xs and Os fans, Want to get a feel for how everyone would like to see the topics organized. Should we do a thread for offense, defense, and then a catch-all thread? Or would it be better to be more position specific (QB thread, D-line thread and so on)? Or, a combination of the...

    Enjoy X's and O's Aficionados!

I hope to see a lot of contributions! My intent was to get a lot of interaction from multiple people and have some good conversation, and I believe this will be a great format to do so.

    NFL Combine: Seahawks Edition

Just wanted to give a thank you in this thread to Mistashoesta and everyone else that provided clips over the last week. Made it easy to get a lot of the highlights in one location (was not thrilled overall with the NFL Network coverage).

It's more of a look at what Grubb's offensive schemes may look like, not necessarily a focus on any given player. I let all of the other threads dive into Penix's draft value.

https://www.youtube.com/live/WfZISqQJ3DA?si=ym3Bz1Iz-boZc_IK Long (over 90 minute) video discussing Grubb's offensive philosophies based off of the 2023 Apple Cup. Film study really doesn't start until about 30 minutes in or so, but it does give us more footage of what "could be" our offense...

All-22 look at Witherspoon's rookie highlights. Good film, but the title is a bit misleading as the answer is basically he could do a lot of different things next season.

    Students Of The Game

Spring game interview with Ryan Grubb, going over his philosophy. Specifically calls out two things; at least 16% of plays need to be explosive (with an understanding of balancing TOP to allow for the defense to recuperate) and the 12% rule, where negative plays need to account for only 12% or...
