    Gronk To Bucs

The NFL network appears to be going through their entire catalog of Gronkowski videos. Good thing it's the only thing we want to know about.

When did you start following the Seahawks?

1976-Jim Zorn, Steve Largent emregence made even lost games fun. Seahawks fans were into it in a big way back then too. First season tickets in 1980. Lost all 8 home games. Do'in pretty good now though.

Austin Calitro Cut, re-signed fullback Nick Bellore

Calitro for Bellore is a big mistake.

    John Ursua...

I personally don't need to see more. Put him on the 53 and play him. If we don't, we will surely regret it. One comparison to Steve Largent is entirely legit, Ursua explodes out of his cuts and as a result is open a lot of the time. Got not so much to do with foot speed but with center of...

    Ken Behring Died

In addition to the oft mentioned move to Cali, Behring Sr. saddled the team with his kid as ramrod. David Behring knew not thing one about football. The old man, however, thought Tom Flores knew enough for ten GM's. Another myth put to rest.

Pick #88 R 3 Cody Barton LB Utah

I knew very little of the specifics of Barton or Marquise Blair of the Utes. What i DID know was that Utah had a hell of a tough defense. Presumably, these guys are a key reason why. Interesting to see that Cody Barton's brother, Jackson, was also drafted. OT and he's a big sucker, 6' 7".

    Pick #142 R5 Ben-Burr Kirven LB

You are exactly right. Kim played at over 230 but he also ran in the 4.6's and played at strong safety. Shaquem ran in the 4.3's at over 230 and with dropped weight could be a single high free. Way different players though. At roughly the same weight there's no way Shaquem can bring the hammer...

    Pick #124 R4 Phil Haynes G

I did not "go comparing" him to Edwin Bailey. I was merely suggesting that good players do not come only from power 5 conferences. I am probably as much an admirer of Edwin Bailey as you are. I did not suggest that Haynes was going to play worse, as well asl or better than Bailey. There was no...

Pick #120 R4 Gary Jennings WR

Apparently he has already been coached up by Russel Wilson. When he was in fourth grade he played on a youth basketball team in Virginia with Russell's sister and their coach was none other than DangeRuss hisself. The story has been acknowledged by both Wilson & Jennings on twitter.

    Pick #124 R4 Phil Haynes G

Seems to me that there's a lot to like here. Four year starter, team captain and reportedly a leader. Said to have good strength. Solari likes 'em big and he's 320 lbs. Remember Edwin Bailey came from a smaller college than Wake Forest (S. Carolina State) and lasted as a starter for many...

    Pick #142 R5 Ben-Burr Kirven LB

Shaquem Griffin does. Drop weight to about 210-215 and he would probably be our fastest safety.

Bowl Game Changes Beginning In 2020

That was my thought as well. At least, I was somewhat surprised by that too.

    Best Touchdown In Seahawks History

Dave Krieg hits Darryl Turner for an 80 yard TD on the first play of the game striking dumb the loud Denver crowd at Mile-High. But Paul Skansi in KC is the stuff of a novel.

    MB on Pete Carroll

Well said. MB and Sherm were making more money in one year than most of us will make in a lifetime. Paying attention in meetings was a small thing to ask. I still have my NFL Sherman 25 cap and have long been a fan of his play. Recent events, however, make me wonder if Richard isn't kind of a...

Biggest surprise Seattle could pull in the draft?

If the right player falls they stick 'n pick at 18. Vita Vea, Derwin James among others might be worth it. Don't think it couldn't happen. Warren Sapp, Aaron Rogers who fell to...what 21 ? Then you eat it until 120. Doubt that will happen. JS gonna want his 10 picks.

Ken Norton Jr. as DC after all?

I see Norton Jr. as a step down from K. Richard as a DC. As a tough guy who commands respect, Norton excels. plus he's a hell of a motivator though Richard was no slouch in that area. I think we're giving up critical thinking which may be at the heart of the issue. Pete wants it done his way...

The chances of trading Jarran Reed are approximately those of trading Russel Wilson, IMO.
