I'll start the thread. So can the Ducks get the Stanford monkey off their backs after losing the last 2 against the Cardinal? I'm a Coug and Husky fan first and foremost but always root for UO and OSU next. Hope they get it done, but I'm saying no, Stanford by 3 at the end.

Won't be close, IMO. Ducks 38 cardinal 21.

MariotA is healthy this time. Stanford missing a couple key defenders.

Nice opening drive. Question though for you J.....don't they have a power back for those first and goal at the one yard line kind of situations?

Freeman is the power back. But they'll substitute anybody at any time.

That drive was huge. I think the last 2 years we've lost because of missing offensive opportunities in the first quarter.

That would be awesome. I hope he gets enough prime time games (like this one) and does well enough in those games (like he is so far in this one) to overcome playing for a Northwest school.

They're converting on 3rd down and sustaining drives. Looking really good on O so far.

That's the thing with Mariota. He's so good, and so consistently good, that if he's off just a bit it's glaring. Testimony to the player he is. Perfection is expected.

IF the award is truly meant for the best player in college football, MM deserves the Heisman. No question. And It won't be too many years before he's also the best player in the NFL, imo.

The Harbaugh effect has gone at Stanford.

David Shaw is taking them back into mediocrity.

Stanford need a score here or it'll probably get away from them.
