This is shaping up to be one of the defining weekends of the college football season. We're in the final 3rd of the season and this weekend sees six match-ups of Top 25 teams (CFP rankings used).

#4 Oregon @ #17 Utah
#5 Alabama @ #16 LSU
#7 Kansas State @ #6 TCU
#14 Ohio State @ #8 Michigan State
#10 Notre Dame @ #9 Arizona State
#12 Baylor @ #15 Oklahoma

The first of these starts at Noon ET, the last at 10pm ET. Saturday's gonna be interesting.

My gut tells me Oregon, Alabama, Kansas State, and Bayor all win, but that is a lot of wins for road teams. So I will make these my picks:

Oregon
Alabama
TCU
Michigan State
Arizona State
Oklahoma

Though I really like this years Kansas State team and won't be surprised at all if they beat TCU.

This really is shaping up to be one of the best Saturdays of the year!

Win by ASU puts them square into the playoff picture. Not top 4, but a path is paved if you will.

Baylor blew out Oklahoma to start the day, and now Arizona State is up 31-3 on Notre Dame in the 2nd quarter.

The collegiate tier is as mucked up as the pros, or I suppose, as competitive (?).

Anyone wanna' win a championship these days?

Hard to believe these same Sun Devils were outplayed by our Dawgs. Would have / should have been a nice feather in the cap of Coach Pete.

Notre Dame should be blowing ASU out but they keep turning the ball over.

I can't believe ASU is going to blow a 31 point lead.

Edit: for the first time in the second half the ASU offense comes alive. It's back to a 10 point lead for the Sun Devils.

Wow, what a turnaround. ASU looked all but dead, now they're back up 17 thanks to another defensive TD.

Upset Alert: #3 Auburn is losing at home to Texas A&M, 35-17 at halftime.

And now it is a 3 point game...Auburn now has the ball with about five and a half to go.

Auburn would have of fumble at 2nd and goal at the 2 yard yard line.

Answering myself again...

Auburn would have to fumble again :(

Nice try at a comeback though.

Nick Marshall has Cam Newton syndrome....holding on to the ball too long while running with the RB in a read option play at the goal line and fumbles

Read on another site that LSU has 15 5* recruits visiting for this game vs Alabama. 41 recruits in total visiting.

Pretty sure I saw on ESPN that they already have 31 verbal commitments this year.
