So heading to Seattle for the game on Saturday and the game on Sunday.

I have read the gameday thread, I used to live in Kirkland (10 years ago) but was hoping for some input.

Saturday -- planning on basically just hitting some sport bar or place where we can watch football all day before leaving for the game. What place has GREAT food and good viewing for College football? I can find burger and wings anywhere so just hoping for something that is really good and you can hang out for several hours kind of place.

Thoughts?

Then going to the game. I have parking passes that comes with my tickets. Am I better off driving out there and using the passes or should we use a cab / take a bus from somewhere in town?

Sunday - got it all covered! :)

Thanks!

Sport has terrible food. Like Applebee's terrible.

Sorry, I should have chimed in on that part as well.

Buckley's has excellent food, and a pretty solid variety. The belltown location is better than the QA location for TV viewing, IMO.

Kickin Boot has excellent BBQ, though it is a bid spendy as it falls into the trendy BBQ category as opposed to what you might think a classic BBQ joint is like. Their TV situation is limited, but the big screen is visible from anywhere in the bar area.

Thanks a bunch!

Looks like Buckley's is more the sports bar to hang out in for multiple hours so think we do that

DUB PUB in Kirkland?
Not 100% on the food, but it's a Huskies bar.

I can second Dub Pub. Cheap drinks, lots of tvs, solid food.

If you've got a parking pass, just get down there early, tailgate a bit, and then tailgate after the game till the horrendous traffic dies down.

Hmm good point on parking pass and tailgating. Didn't really think about that. Thanks!

Going to stick to Seattle bars as I am staying down there
