Wow, TCU got screwed - even though it was easy to see coming. What is the point of releasing the weekly rankings then.

Alabama and Oregon are gonna roll and finally play each other in for the National Championship.

So that being said, did they announce any other football games? Kinda interested where they all go with the wins yesterday besides the top four.

Yeah, looking forward to the other bowl matchups.

Ducks will handle Fla. St. Bama will struggle a bit with OSU but win in the end. I'd take the Bucks and the 9.5, it's Urban Meyer with a month to prepare for heaven's sake. Championship game will be all about how well Tide can slow down Ducks offense. Oregon D will play well enough to keep the team in the game.

I look at it more like.. it's Nick Saban with a month to prepare against a 3rd string QB and coach he has routinely had his way with.

NCAA not happy with the Big 12 for not having a conference championship may have more to do with it (or that Big 10 alums Barry Alvarez and Tom Osborne make up 2 of the 3 big voices on the committee)

MN Radio conspiracy theorists believe Wisconsin took a dive in the final to OSU. both teams got rewarded.

thoughts?

More conspiracy theories:

With the championship game in Arlington, they wanted no chance that a local small private school (TCU or Baylor) with a small fan base (that already lives here) would be involved.

Much better for 40,000+ Ohio state fans bring their $$$$ to town.

My thought is this is a stupid theory and doesn't deserve even the smallest shred of validation by discussing it.
