We traded our 6th for Burley, so we should have the Harvin 6th and the comp 6th only. FYI

Are we sure we'll get a WT3 comp? He went on IR pretty early

You're right. I don't think we get a comp pick for Thurmond.

Gurley is likely gone by the mid teens before MG3 unless he goes nuts against auburn.

Keep in mind when I say this that I still think Gurley has the potential to be a good back . . . but . . .

When I watch him a see a very upright running style with a narrow base. He runs with some power, but that power is based more on speed than on being a "solid" runner like Marshawn. Upright runners can be successful in the NFL, but they are generally easier to tackle AND more prone to lower body injuries than squatty runners who run low.

I still see more potential in Gordon.

I think comp pick are based more on contract than actual play

Gordon has 3 TDs and 230 yds. rushing in the middle of the 4th. That qualifies as 'going off' I'd say. :D

I think you're right about Gurley being gone well before our pick because he has the size as well as speed. Gordon might be there when we pick but not sure that's the case either. If we were to take Gordon it would be because PC & JS don't think Michael is a carry most of the load guy. Possible for sure, but if I had a guess I'd say Melvin's gone somewhere in the 20s and Gurley even before that. I know RB has been devalued in recent years, but Gurley and Gordon look pretty special to me and I think will to NFL GMs as well.
