I don't know much about this guy but I'm intrigued. Nothing about his combine numbers stand out, which is often the case with guards. There is just something about his workout that really stood out to me today. I can't quite put my finger on it. He doesn't have particularly quick feet, but he explodes out of his stance and hits the bag with force. I watched some film of him blowing up defensive linemen on a trap play. He could be a late round option as a replacement for Carpenter -- late 5th to 7th. Or maybe even develop him into a backup center.

The guy is slow, but his pass pro is awesome.

Is he a fit for our system ? I know we like guys that are more athletic that can get to the 2nd level, but I guess I'm old school. I like my OLmen to be able to line up and beat the crap out of the guy in front of him first. I'm so tired of watching Carpenter blow assignment after assignment, and watching Sweezy get set on his ass in pass protection.
