I like Troy hill as a late round guy (5th or lower). He struggled early in his career at Oregon but was great in his senior season and played really well against Florida state and Ohio state, after ifo went down. Before this season i wouldnt have thought he was an nfl player, but now i tiink theres a spot in the league for him. He actually reminds me a lot if Byron maxwell. Tough, gritty player.

It does seem like there will be plenty of day 3 development prospects for Seattle.

Byron Jones pretty much Dontari Poe'd himself from day three to day 2. I had only seen his one cut up and noted that he looked like a good R5 kind of Seahawk prospect.

Overall, I expect us to take a guy most of us have barely heard mention of. Seems there are half a dozen 6'+ 32" arms+, 4.6ish kinds of prospects that are middling around in the day 3 draft pool. Thinking one of those 4th round comp picks may well be one of these guys.

At 6'2, 203 lbs with 32+ arms, LSU CB Jalen Collins (#32) just put up a 1.50 10-yard split and a 4.43 40.

Pending his agility times and further tape review, he is looking like potentially the best cover corner in this class.

I think corner has suddenly become a need for this team.. wouldn't surprise me at all if Collins is in play at 31 if he falls that far.

Stanford's Alex Carter is also impressing. Same 32+ arm length as Collins, 4.51 official 40, and 40'' vert so far. But not as tight in coverage as Collins or Waynes.

Wake Forest's Kevin Johnson also showing well today: solid 4.52 40 and impressive 41.5'' vert and 10'10'' broad jump. 31'' arms are the same as Wayne's. 10'10'' broad jump ties the best mark today shared with Josh Shaw . . . this is an important measure of explosiveness in breaking hard on the ball and tackling.

Louisville's Charles Gains is making a statement at the combine. 1.53 10-yard split, 4.44 official 40. He has longer arms than Waynes, Johnson, or Peters.
