One thing we should be accustomed to, is Seattle abandoning the reservation and taking a couple non combine invitees in the draft. It seems pretty clear that Seattle really values pro days. Not to the same degree as individual workouts in Seattle. But here are some players who shined that we could hear more of as 6th/7th/UDFA prospects.

WRs:

Brian Suite - Utah State 6020, 205, 4.45 40, 37V/10-2B
Cameron Meredith - Illinois State 6034, 207, 4.42, 39V/10-7B, 4.17ss/6.76c

DBs:

Cedric Thompson - FS Minnesota 5110, 211, 4.48 40, 40.5V/10-2B, 4.28/6.96c. 31 arms/77 wing. 10.25 hand Note: Possible Earl Thomas understudy.

LB:

Matthew Wells - Mississippi State 6017, 222, 4.41 40, 35.5V/9-10B, 4.26ss/6.97c

It's a lean LB draft. Wells could be a 6th round prospect of similar quality to KPL, who we took in R4 last year. Agility and explosion not quite Pierre-Louis' standard. Seattle likes to add LBs every year, and there aren't any sub 4.5 linebackers tested thus far that I've seen.

I'm very curious to see how George Farmer does at USC's pro day next week. Pete recruited him.

Pretty much everyone thinks George should've stayed another year. That said, I can kind of understand why he came out for the draft.

Suite is actually a Safety. Both he and Sutera (also S) out of Utah State could be good to keep an eye on

Full house here in Eugene for Oregon's pro day. All 32 teams repped. #Titans have big contingency, including HC. Must be 100 people here.

"Receiver Tyler McCulloch performed well at Colorado's pro day and really helped himself. The big receiver measured 6050/218lbs, posted a vertical jump of 37 inches, broad jump of 10-10 then timed 4.50 seconds in the 40. His other marks included 4.23 seconds in the short shuttle and 7.13 seconds in the 3-cone drill. McCulloch caught the ball very well. Back in 2012 McCulloch, then a sophomore, looked terrific on film as he was the Buffs primary receiver as Paul Richardson was on the sidelines with a knee injury. McCulloch then was injured himself in 2013 but returned to play well this year. Part of the issue for McCulloch was terrible quarterback play at Colorado, but rest assured, he's someone who could surprise in camp this summer. "
