Kristjan Sokoli is a nose tackle from Buffalo (Kahlil Mack's school) of Albanian descent. Currently, Sokoli has the 2nd highest SPARQ score of any player in Zach Whitman's database of 2015 players that were not invited to the Combine. In fact, Sokoli is a top 10 SPARQ player of any player in any position in this year's Draft (behind only Vic Beasley, Davis Tull, Chris Conley, Byron Jones and a WR/KR from Maine named Damarr Aultman).

Sokoli is 24 years old, is 6044 (six foot four and half inch), 290 lbs, with 34 inch arms and 10 3/8 inch hands. His wingspan is 79.5. He ran a 4.84 forty with a 7.19 cone drill, 31 bench press reps, and a 38 inch vertical. His Broad Jump was 9 foot 11 inches. (pSparq is 142.1, z-score (Standard deviation above the NFL average for his position is a whopping 2.2))

Ideal athleticism, size, strength, and arm length for the OG position.

I made this same inquiry right after his pro day.

As a DL, he seems very unspectacular. But if he can flip sides, you'd have athletically one of the best interior guards in the NFL immediately.

As a DL convert, he may well be worth that early 6th round pick. It looks like he's on virtually every fans' 7th round projection. I'd expect more than a handful of teams will be considering him early in the 7th. With possibly one or two teams having him on their 6th round evaluation.

Always fun to dream about getting a Sweezy caliber guard in the sixth round. Heres hoping it works out!

Sweezy's contract ends this year.. so trying to get his replacement makes sense.

Sweezy is not going to go anywhere, you don't let your most successful project leave.

Hopefully.. but good guards are not cheap to keep. Do we have the coin for that?

Carroll and Schenider seemed to hint today that Sweezy may not be re-signed. They talked about drafting certain players in anticipation of not being able to re-sign players in the future due to salary cap. And Carroll mentioned that Glowinski would play right guard.

Glow will have to play lights out to take Sweezy's spot this year, also you don't drop hint's that your not signing a player while he is still under contract, I think that that's an assumption.

Yeah, they would never say it publicly, but saying Glow will play right guard is an indication to me at least that they are preparing for Sweezy's eventual departure.

Of course they are, just as we have Turbin for Lynch, Norwood for Kearse etc. It pushes the starters to keep their A game intact, also in case of the "I" word, doesn't always mean they are sending a player out of the building. We have only Okung that is a high round pick on the line now, we overall don't have a lot of money tied up there, saving 7.3 million by letting Carp walk makes signing others that are here and may now garner that sum easier.

He's not just of Albanian descent, he was born and lived there I read somewhere else.

Does that mean the Seahawks have the only Albanian in the league ?
