So, the OP question is legit. I sort of thought the same thing at the time. Yes, they did. But, he's a good one. I just don't know how there wasn't trade offers to come up and get Leonard Williams that might have been worth considering.

He played LT at Iowa. I can't believe they would draft a guard at #5, even in this weakened first round. There were impact players available. SMH

Well, if they're serious about trying to protect RGIII this year, taking the most talented offensive lineman on their board makes sense I guess.

I think he plays RT for them and is definitely insurance for Trent Williams.

he'll play RT. Never a bad idea to take the best olineman on the board.

I was surprised by all the interior linemen who were drafted. It's like they looked at the Seahawks draft needs and decided to draft there en masse!
