With remaining picks - any favorites?

Yeah, seems like the Hawks gave up a lot to move up in the 3rd, but I think he's the right choice. They did move up 26 spots. Does anyone have that chart value handy to see if it was a fair enough trade?

In any case... REALLY needed to improve kickoff/punt returns. Addressed a HUGE weakness. Need to win in all phases of the game. The Hawks went from Bryan Walters to Tyler Lockett. Yes, yes... I think I will take that. Will look forward to KR and PR now. Last season, I honestly cringed probably every time.

With the remaining picks, who do you all think they should take? I don't know if he will last until 130, but I'd like to see them take Jarvis Harrison. Another player I really like is Max Valles.

Round 4, Pick 31 (130)
Round 4, Pick 35 (134) (compensatory selection)
Round 5, Pick 34 (170) (compensatory selection)
Round 6, Pick 33 (209) (compensatory selection)
Round 6, Pick 38 (214) (compensatory selection)
Round 7, Pick 31 (248)

Why can't he be a PR? If this guy can do both, then anything he does as a WR is gravy.

He was money at both. Lockett is Golden Tate 2.0

I think JS will try to trade back in the 4th to recoup some picks, otherwise you have to believe they will address the OL

If TOTC's list of draft picks remaining are correct, JS cannot trade back in the 4th, since they are picking 31st in that round. So no way to trade back into the 4th, maybe try to get something in the 5th and 6th. Only has two picks (4th and 7th that they can trade).

Was hoping that 4th traded to the Skins was one of their original pick instead of the the one they did. Also, seems they traded the 6th they got from the Jets.

Really depends on who drops to that spot in the 4th.. could be a team in the top of the 5th that wants to jump the compensatory teams to take a player.

Bad comparison. I just don't see it besides the height

Yup he is more comparable to Doug Baldwin. UDFA Doug Baldwin, bad trade.

Man, it would be WONDERFUL if Adrian Amos was still available at 130. I could call it a day at that point. Slide baby slide!

Have a feeling Glowinski will be a Seahawk tomorrow.

Puzzling to see Jarrett and Bennett slide the way they are.

Same size player. Both of them were electric playmakers in college, especially on special teams. Both love to block. Both have sound hands.. both great route runners.

Only difference is hand size.. Tate has bigger hands than Lockett. Aside from that they are very similar players.

:th2thumbs: I just made a list of about 60 players which Seahawks will have a shot at tomorrow. So, I'm still pretty excited to see what players they draft in these latter rounds and pick up as UDFA. I think there will be some good ones.

I think Lockett is a much better route runner than Golden was coming out. Honestly, Lockett does remind me more of Antonio Brown than Golden Tate. I realize Brown is on the short list of best receivers in the NFL, but I really believe that he has that type of ceiling.

Not sure if serious...

Doug is a very solid NFL WR. But I think Lockett's ceiling is considerably higher. He was insanely productive at KSU and is a much better KR/PR than ADB.

I think the FO did great in moving up to get him. Kid can and will ball for the Hawks.
