Some guys that I really like that fill a need. I'm not crazy about how much it took to get Lockett but picking up a couple of these guys would be awesome. Other than these guys, there's still a lot of good talent left, especially OL up the middle.
22. T.J. Clemmings, 6’4 5/8, 307 pounds, OT, Pittsburgh
45. Michael Bennett, 6'2, 288 pounds, DT, Ohio State
56. Grady Jarrett, 6'0 7/8, 288 pounds, DT, Clemson
80. Daryl Williams, 6'5, 327 pounds, OT, Oklahoma
82. Tre Jackson, 6’4, 330 pounds, G, Florida State
87. Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, 5’10, 185 pounds, CB, Oregon
93. David Cobb, 5’10 3/4, 229 pounds, RB, Minnesota
96. Josue Matias, 6’6, 325 pounds, G, Florida State
103. Jarvis Harrison, 6’4, 330 pounds, G, Texas A&M
137. Jamil Douglas, 6’4, 304 pounds, G, Arizona State
138. B.J. Finney, 6’3 3/4, 318 pounds, C, Kansas State
144. Tre McBride, 6'0 3/4, 205 pounds, WR, William & Mary
173. Adrian Amos, 6’0 1/2, 214 pounds, S, Penn State
183. Max Garcia, 6'4 1/2, 305 pounds, C, Florida
211. Nick O’Leary, 6’3 1/4, 252 pounds, TE, Florida State
257. Kenny Bell, 6’1 1/8, 197 pounds, WR, Nebraska

Any of these stick out to you or want to add any I skipped?

Ok, a few questions.

Why the hell hasn't anyone picked Michael Bennett yet ? I saw him mocked consistently in the 1st round 2 months ago. What happened ?

Lae'l Collins. Unless something else is going on......the guy isn't a suspect. I can see taking a 4th or 5th on that guy. Risk/Reward on that is off the charts.

Same thing with Clemmings. I don't get it.

There's a ton of good OL still left. We can get a solid solid Guard in the 4th.

Also suprised Ajayi is still around. If we picked him, we'd probably have to cut Michael.

It doesn't matter that the police say Collins isn't a suspect. He won't be one until he is one - the same way that Aaron Hernandez wasn't a suspect initially, but then we find out that he's the NFL's first serial killer. I hope Collins is innocent, but I wouldn't even touch him in the 7th at this point. There's way too many unanswered questions and if one wants to go this route, there's a clear, albeit sick, motive if he's involved.

I think it's quite telling that all teams have said no thanks at this point. Their resources are vast, and everyone is saying no to a potential elite talent.

I also read somewhere that if he didn't get selected in the first three rounds, he'll sit out in 2015 and try again next year. He's just not worth the risk at this point.

If you believe Rappoport, the Collins kid through his agent states that if he wasn't picked today that he would sit out the year and try the draft again next year.

I might take him with one of the later round picks (6 or 7) and see if I could sweat talk him or his agent into coming in.

There's now 2 risks with picking Collins, the murder investigation and what his agent has said. Not sure about his motives to sit out. It delays his path to free agency a year where he could be paid the difference of being a low round vs high round pick... and he now has no college eligibility, so he'll be a year out of football, hurting his draft stock in 2016... assuming he's innocent of potential charges.

Yea I thought I'd heard if he wasn't drafted at all he'd come back next year, but yeah, I could see why teams wouldn't touch him with a 3rd round pick.

Still......what's up with Michael Bennett ?

What is the rule if a player doesn't sign. Lost pick or get compensation year after?

Note not asking if he goes to prison just if he doesn't sign

If you could get compensatory picks for players you draft but don't sign, I suspect Garrett Scott would not have gotten signed last year after his rare heart condition was discovered. The team did him a solid, but if they could've gotten a draft pick back this year, they probably would not have done him that favor... that is how baseball works, though that's because they're draft eligible before attending college and players more frequently opt to not sign with teams that draft them by a deadline.

I also read somewhere that if he didn't get selected in the first three rounds, he'll sit out in 2015 and try again next year. He's just not worth the risk at this point.
I'll admit I haven't followed this story very closely. What's the motive he's involved?

I like most of that list Cheese and here are a few more guys I like at the positions we might target.

92) Marcus Hardison DT
100) Joey Mbu DT
133) Gabe Wright DT
160) Ladarius Gunter CB
167) DeAndre Smelter WR
169) Lorenzo Doss CB
179) Dezmin Lewis WR
181) Corey Robinson OT
199) Damian Swann CB
208) Jalston Fowler FB
246) Nick Boyle TE
267) Laurence Gibson OT
279) Mark Glowinski G
290) Blake Bell TE

I see about a half a dozen safety prospects that would fit nicely in our backup competition as well. Lots of good players to choose from today and its just a matter of where Pete & John feel we are short a guy or two in this years competition. I know the O-line & DT will get help and after that its anybody's guess.

That his now deceased ex-girlfriend was eight months pregnant with a baby that is likely his. He's about to cash in on a lucrative career but would have to pay a good chunk of child support over the next 18 years.

At least that's the way I see it. Really hoping that that is not reality. Just a tragic situation.

Draft Collins, Ifo, Mayle

Collins did pass a polygraph yesterday, and those are about 85% accurate.

Still some quality players out there. Would be stunned if we don't go OL with our first pick of the day

Jarret,Bennett & Hardison make my mouth water. I think a 3 tech pain in the ass is a need as well. Glowinski has Hawks written all over him tho. I like Dezmin Lewis if he slides down a rd or two as well.
