I don't know if this is the right place for this topic. Thought this might be fun. How many famous or semi-famous people attended schools currently in the Pac-12? Oregon state boasts 2 playboy playmates of the year. Kara jean underwood and Jodi Ann Paterson. I would assume both have nice beavers.

I could be wrong but I don't think Ty Burell actually went to Oregon, I think he just grew up a fan. I remember seeing him in an interview say Southern Oregon, but I could be wrong

According to his wiki he graduated from southern oregon but did attend u of o for awhile and was on a fraternity there.

Lots of great alums from all of the Pac 12 schools but doesn't the UW end of winning with just one name?

Bruce Lee

and Dawn Wells - MaryAnn from Gilligan's Island isn't bad either.

Didn't know this, but Paul Allen was a Coug for two years before dropping out to work as a programmer and shortly after, help found Microsoft.

Steve Ballmer briefly attended Stanford as a post-graduate student. Tiger Woods also attended Stanford but I'm leaving off athletes who aren't famous for other career choices.

First man to walk on the moon went to USC.

As expected, USC is loaded with famous actors.

Because he's negated by the infamous Ted Bundy. Who, as it turns out also went to Utah.

I believe it's Sara Jean Underwood, not Kara.

USC has a hell of a list, but I'll also add George Lucas and Jerry Buss (yes, mostly sports related, but still).

Gary Killdall, UW undergrad and phd student, wrote CP/M, the first real OS for personal computers, rewritten for the 8086 by a guy at Seattle computer products, sold to bill gates for 50 thousand dollars, relicensed to IBM , the basis for the Microsoft fortune.

Bill Atkinson, UW grad student, who wrote the graphical user interface for the Lisa and then the Macintosh computers.

So UW grads wrote the first operating systems for both the pc and the Mac, which is amazing.
