A lot of crapy matchups. They need to eliminate about 12-15 bowl game, IMO.

Other then the New Years games and playoff games, and of course the ducks game I don't see anything there even worth watching. Ill probably watch the PAC 12 games out of loyalty, and North Carolina vs Baylor might be fun. Otherwise a bunch of garbage.

Disagree. Those come in handy when I'm stuck on the coach in a food coma and don't even have to get of my ass to wager on them.

Utah getting an invite to the Vegas Bowl was highway robbery. That game belongs to PAC-12 #6 and that was NOT Utah. This was a strategic move by the bowl committee to put two old in-state rivals up against each other. Since BYU knew weeks ago that this was their bowl game, the fans bought up all the tickets, in hopes that Utah fans could not make it a home field advantage. Typical.

Why do people want t eliminate any bowl games? No one is forcing you to watch them, and they are a great insensitive for teams who aren't as good. Back in the 80s UO had 3-4 winning seasons with no bowl game, because there wasn't as many, it would have been great to see them go to any bowl back then, but 6-5 didn't get you there.

Kind of how i feel too... there are only 4 teams playing for anything "real" at this point. The rest is just for fun. it extends the season for the teams a few weeks so they get more practice time. and, if you don't want to watch it, then don't.

I may tune in for the Holiday Bowl (always one of my favorite non-Jan 1 bowls), the Rose, the playoffs, and probably the ASU game.

This is what happens when your team sucks down the stretch and the bowls get to pick the LA schools first.

Want a better bowl? Beat a crappy UCLA team at home.

Your fans get to go to Vegas. Beats the hell out of El Paso or some of the other destinations.

We went 9-4 last year beating Standford, USC and UCLA.. ended up being invited to the Vegas Bowl.

Clearly there's more to it than just that. But whatever, we suck so I guess I'll just deal with it. :p

It's not just about the bowl... it's also about the team we're playing. But yes, I am grateful for a winning season and being bowl eligible. Don't mean to sounds ungrateful... it's just the circumstances of it all.

In 2014 Utah went 5-4 in conference and finished 5th in their division.
