I know very little about this guy because I don't watch college football. He suffered a leg injury and was considered potentially the best player in the draft (CBS Sports has him at #9). The scouting report at CBS Sports (formerly NFL Draft Scout, a great draft resource) calls him a freakish athlete that can rush the passer and play in coverage. Does his knee injury likely drop his draft stock enough to where we could get him, and is he a player we'd want to spend a 1st round pick on and let Irvin walk?

If it's going to cause him to drop THAT far, he'd probably just return to college for his senior year.

Looks pretty grim. May not be playing in 2016 no matter where he goes. Won't know for a bit. But fear is it's more than a garden variety ACL tear.

Horrible thing is the injury was on a hit after the pllay.
