Sounds like Hargrave, Lewis and Glasgow are making good impressions across the board.

Glasgow is working as guard today and getting good reviews.

Being in Nebraska and watching Lewis I love how strong the guy is. I thought he was a little slow on fast end rushers and really thought he might end up in the interior. I would hope he would be around in the 6th and get a look from the Hawks. being 6'6 and just under 300 he could be a solid guard and if he could get a little more flexibility he may even equate to a solid tackle.

Javon Hargrave . . . You want to see a guy at this level dominate the competition. Hargrave does. Ridiculously. By halftime the guard #63 is slamming his helmet in frustration because he can't do a thing. There is literally only half a dozen plays the whole game where Hargrave Isn't making an impact.

Has a great over the shoulder swim move and knifes through blocks. When he does get caught head on, he displays great power in pushing his blocker back. He's got a phenomenal lower body strength.

Plays aggressive and relentless. Sometimes too aggressive as he overpursues and takes the wrong gap.

I love this kid. Will be interested who he does on a bigger stage and in testing.

As important as the Oline is, I think we have to pick up a stud interior pressure guy for the DLINE also a lb.

DL Anthony Zettel
DE Dean Lowry http://walterfootball.com/eastwest2016practice5.php

Walterfootball.com also has a list of interviews. No Seahawks interviews mentioned, but just looking at frequent names being attached to teams, it looks like OL Fahn Cooper and DT Anthony Zettel are making a good impression overall.

I'll keep posting notes as I come across them, mostly to keep track of players we could look into as a community. The Seahawks have made good use of this event in the past. Very few players here are taken in the top 3 rounds, but there are impact players at the Shrine game.

Feel free to add any notes you come across or thoughts on individuals players mentioned.

I want to see Glasgow in the Shrine game. Sounds like he may be a great fit for us.

This draft looks ridiculously deep at both OL and DL this year. It's a good year to have 4 picks in days 1 and 2.

I think this is one of those years where Seattle's draft board will be more impacted by free agency than regular season performances. If Seattle can keep Okung, then tackle becomes a luxury. If Seattle can keep Irvin, then fast LB becomes a luxury. If Seattle can keep Kearse, then WR becomes a luxury. If Seattle can keep or replace Mebane/Rubin, then DT becomes a luxury, etc.

My hope is that Seattle can keep all of their most important free agents, and focus on pass rush early. Pass rush is going to be a need in a couple of years, best to start looking now. Pete hinted that Seattle will look to draft pass rush early this year.

If we spent pass rush rd 1, do you see it being a leo type? Interior dt? OLB?

Nembot "looks like Tarzan... plays like Jane." He's pretty aweful at this point. They say he's "raw" - and that's an understatement. NO WAY that guy should get anywhere close to VMAC. Maybe Canada and prove he can get it together playing football as much as he works on his physique.

Victor Ochi, DE, Stoneybrook... IS A BEAST! If he ever was a secret, that's certainly out now. He looked like a man among boys today in the Shrine game. He was consistently quicker off the snap than the other players who played for major college programs. I think Ochi answered the question overwhelmingly today that he can play with the level of talent. Wow. He's an amazing prospect.

DL Ebuka Onyemata (Manitoba???)
DL Tyrone Holmes http://walterfootball.com/eastwest2016practice4.php

Ebuka Onyemata - Played for the University of Manitoba Bisons (Canadian rules football). Born in Nigeria, he is an extremely raw, but athletic player. Considering he never saw a football until about 5 or 6 years ago when he immigrated to Canada, he is impressive. I could see the Seahawks making him a project as a UFA. He was being misused at the Shrine game. He is naturally a tackle, but they were using him as an edge rusher at 6'4" and 300 lbs!. Still managed to pancake the QB in one of the bigger hits of the game.
