Robinson was a prized recruit at LSU that quickly fell out of favor and eventually found himself suspended indefinitely from the team. One of the many things that went wrong for Robinson in school included being arrested for breaking into a teammates apartment. Not exactly the best type of trait you want to show.

However, physically he fits the LOB mold. He's 6-1, 171 (might need to bulk up a bit) with 32 1/4 inch arms. He has real light experience considering he missed most of his career with a suspension, but his freshman tape shows a lot of potential. Robinson held Mike Evans to 51 yards as a true freshman in college.

Robinson might be what we have hoped Tharold Simon would turn into, if we could get his head screwed on straight this kid can be a major steal in the later rounds.

Walter Thurmond (189 pounds) is the lightest corner that PC/JS have drafted as far as I know. Most of the corners Seattle goes after are 190-220. They also traded for Marcus Burley who is at 185.

Have to have some bulk to press. Wouldn't rule this guy out since there aren't a ton of corners with 32" arms this year, but he'd need to gain 15-20 pounds.

A lot of mocks have us taking this guy with a late 3rd rounder but I dont see it why we draft him at all unless it with a 5-7 round pick.

Frankly, this team already used a draft choice this draft (6th round) on Mohammed Seisay, who fits all the specs, has experience, and spent the year in the system.

Just signed Brandon Browner and have guys like Shead, who could develop into a solid player especially if he spends a majority of his training snaps at CB and learns to use his size and physicality like Browner does.

Not to mention the return of Simon and guys like Tye Smith and Stanley Jean Bapitise, who all fit the Seahawks specs as well as have experience within the system.

I could see us taking a flier on him in the 6th or 7th round. But, like others have mentioned...he is too light and needs to bulk up. For me, he is too much of a project for the Seahawks to draft before the 6th round. Robinson's lack of production in his two years, plus his lack of bulk and minimal Seahawks proto type size for CB = 6th or 7th round pick for Seahawks. I get the intrigue with him, but only as a late round pick.

I like this guy. Yeah as some of you pointed out, he needs to bulk a little bit.

What Seattle is really good at doing is stashing guys on IR so they are able to acclimated to a pro regiment .. from bulking up to film study and everything in between.. they just have that magical ability to get an injury on a guy they're working on and they basically redshirt him to keep him on the roster.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he's on their radar as their next "stash and develop" project for the LOB. They did it with Simon, Pinkins, Seisay and so on.

I've professed my love for Rashard Robinson many times. To me, he looks like he's got a very high ceiling and just seems to fit the profile of yet another Day 3 diamond in the rough that the Seahawks have targeted many times. He's got very good coverage skills and if the Seahawks coaches and trainers get their hands on him, this is a guy who IMO has starter potential down the road. I'm personally thinking 5th round on sounds about right ... as many teams are going to be scared away by his past demons.

CB has to be the position with the most quality depth. Sherman, Lane, Browner, Shead, Burley, Simon, Seisay, Farmer, Jean-Baptiste, Smith and Reed. That's a lot of talent with good flexibility. Realistically there are 5 potential starters counting a nickel cb. Shead can play safety, there's been talk of Browner playing some in the box, Burley and Smith could be our nickel cb. I think Sherman and Lane start with Burley inside in the nickel. I think Jean-Baptiste could find some time at corner because he is a good fit for the system, kind of a smaller Browned with more quicks but less physical. And I hope Tye Smith earns some reps. He's just fun to watch and has a ton of flair. Shead sticks because he can play 4 positions in the backfield.

I think with this much depth and so many other holes, drafting a cb would be a waste. Safety is another story. I'd love to see Tanner MacEvoy groomed to fill in behind Kam and maybe take his spot if there's problems signing him in the future. We were one of the worst defenses guarding te's and MacEvoy could really carve out a niche defending the Big, athletic te's. I think that's worth a spot as a bit of a specialist for now.

I hope we can insert an existing guy or draft a guy who can start right away.- especially preventing that slow, penalty filled, not the same guy Brandon Browner from starting.

I read he was 178 pounds soaking wet.... needs to grab a 12" sub and hit the weights.
