Every since about 1999 I have been a bit of a draft nerd. it is just like Christmas except even better because I don’t have to spend a bunch of money. I no longer have the time to watch hundreds of college games but I do watch pliantly of highlight tapes and do some reading as well as follow our draft experts McGruff, Kearly, and a handful of others very closely.

So here’s my gut feel for the Seahawks draft this year.

If DT Sheldon Rankins, DT Robert Nkemdiche, or OT Jack Conklin fall to #26 they are the pick, if not we trade back with Denver to #31 or Cleveland at #32 for an extra 4th.

Players between #26 and #100 that I really like

RB Derrick Henry
OT Jason Spriggs
DE Emmanuel Ogbah
WR Laquan Treadwell
DT Hassan Ridgeway
C Ryan Kelly
DT Jonathan Bullard
DT Vernon Butler
DE Noah Spence
OT Germain Ifedi
OT LeRaven Clark
LB Dion Jones
LB Su’a Cravens
DT Sheldon Day
OG Conner McGovern
OG Joshua Garnett
DT Andrew Billings
DE Bronson Kaufusi

Then later in the draft I hope we get a few of these guys
DE Matt Judon 4th
DT Adolphus Washington 4th
LB Jordan Jenkins 4th
OT/OG Joe Dahl 4th
RB Tyler Ervin 4th-6th
RB Daniel Lasco 4th-6th
WR Kenny Lawler 4th-6th
WR Jaydon Mickens 4th-6th
DE Travis Freeney 4th-6th
TE Nick Vannett 4th
C Evan Boehm 4th-6th
CB Rashard Robinson 4th-6th
DT DJ Reader 5th-7th
DT Justin Zimmer 5th-7th
CB/S Will Parks 5th-7th
LB Christian French 7th

Ifedi, Vannett, and Lawler. Got to say I really wanted us to get a stud DT, never really considered Reed. I liked how we stocked up on RB, DT, and OL.
