Is Seattle done drafting offensive tackles?

I suspect that Seattle might not be done looking. The Seahawks were very deliberate to say they viewed Ifedi as a right tackle or guard. Currently at left tackle we have Gilliam who is basically Tyler Polumbus 2.0. And behind Gilliam we have a guy who was a reject of the Arizona Cardinals and is playing on a 1 year, minimal contract. Webb is probably an emergency LT at most.

Even if Seattle feels good about starting Gilliam at LT long term, we still need depth at the position and there are a few guys currently available in the draft that have a shot to stick at LT in the NFL.

My guess is that Seattle goes for a defensive lineman at #56. But it wouldn't shock me if Seattle added a potential left tackle before the draft is over.

I've been wondering about this myself and wonder if they double dip? Could they could possibly be 'in' on Shon Coleman who when healthy might be genuine steal at 56 or slightly later?

I doubt the team is close to being finished with the OLine and if their DLine prospect for this upcoming round is gone I could se them trading back again or standing pat and drafting Coleman.

I really want them to get Jason Spriggs, but I don't think they have the appetite to trade up for him. I think they essentially washed their hands of him by preferring Ifedi's violence and explosiveness off the line of scrimmage to Sprigg's athleticism and technical fortitude. They have chosen their cornerstone tackle in this draft.

I do think they could draft another player who played tackle in college and move him to guard. College teams tend to put their best linemen at tackle. This draft is loaded with those types.

I hope not. WE have a good project for the future but we could use a guy who can pass protect right now.

Don't know if they're done with tackles. Woukdn't surprise me if they grabbed another. But, an interior o-lineman is a lock I'd say.

I sure hope not.

Ifedi to compete with Webb at RT is not a bad start, but adding someone to compete at LT would be really nice, even if the player is flawed and might need a couple years.

Im not expecting us to draft a LT later on who will actually beat Gilliam this year, but i want a rookie to at least compete with Sowell for the backup spot.

It isn't just our starting OL that needs to improve, we need better depth otherwise all it will take is a couple injuries to make it easily the worst OL of the Carroll era.

I keep clamoring for Seattle to address the offensive line and pass protection and they keep bringing in the same type of players. I think it's just time to accept that Seattle wants violent run blockers and light-footed pass pro specialists just aren't in their plans. I'm comfortable with Ifedi and I'm satisfied with the current depth outside because they're satisfied with it.

Give me more defense. I want them to get a couple hammers on the defensive line tonight and all else is gravy.

I'd like at least 2 more OL guys...2 out of the following:

Spriggs, McGovern, Dahl, Haeg, Martin...

Dominique Robertson in the 7th or UDFA could be a good project.
