Oregon is dressing up as Puddles the mascot this weekend. Love the jerseys, not crazy about the orange, but recruits in twitter seem to love them.

And I know you're not making this argument, but your post reminds me of Husky fans who have argued in favor of terrible looking uniforms (all black, all white, no gold pants, etc) by saying "the recruits like them so it helps recruiting". First of all, I don't think there are many players who care that much about uniforms. But if somebody does care enough for it to be a factor in what school they commit to, I wouldn't want that person on my team.
