2017 pre-draft research;
These guys IMO, are currently ranked below what they should be based on their good production stat wise. Some may even go undrafted, but for production they are "outliers", and as such, the Seahawks always seem to find guys like this late in the draft or as UDFA's. Stats are not everything, but are a good place to start especially with projected later round talent as in *who to watch”. -- (rankings) Per: cbssports.com 12/21/16 update. -- stats Per: cfbstats.com.

On to tape study. Does anyone have any -insight on and/or observations of- any of these prospects?

Most look on light side or schools are not top line so competition could be a question. A few more months and all of these guys will have their DNA profiles on file and when they had their first and last cold .

So, aren't the lighter guys from smaller schools usually later round UDFA prospects? I get that it is early in the draft process and much more information will be coming. The list I posted is just my first step at trying to identify hidden gems based on their performance stats for their 3 or 4 years of college football. I prefer watching tape of guys that have actually accomplished something in their college football years rather than athletic freaks that haven't accomplished anything in their college careers and have no significant tape to watch. Athletic freaks aren't always automatically real football players & if they have no stats to back up their play, they are nothing more than "potential" good football players that will either boom or bust. Just my opinion.
