In my opinion Peppers situation is significantly different that Foster's from Alabama because of exactly what I wrote in the previous sentence: his history. I doubt that Peppers "failed" test will have much of an effect on his draft status. Depending on what you read he wasn't a guaranteed first round pick to begin with.
The problem is in the nfls eyes, doesn't matter if you have diluted test or are pumped full of weed. You still fail.
Which means your now in the drug program which means your one failed test away from being suspended 4 games, 2 failed tests from 8 and another from being Josh Gordon'd.
It's risky especially in Seattle and Denver. Since weed is now legal. Lot of temptation around town.... Heck I drive by a guy every day that wears a sandwich board marketing a pot shop down the street.
