Stoops was one of the best coaches in country...damn. Now the Big-12 is looking at having no good teams.

Lincoln Riley could be the next Tom Herman type coach. Young very bright offensive minded guy.

Speaking of Herman, he'll turn the Longhorns around in a hurry.

Oklahoma State will continue to be tough as will West Virginia and TCU.

Can any of these teams win the National Title in 2017? Doubtful. But saying they don't have any "good" teams is a rather large reach.

As long as you are the Oklahoma University the recruits will come. Elite athletes attract good coaches so
the beat goes on. If a new coach can't make the beat go on, they will get someone who can.

Football is such an enormous part of OU identity that the Okie capos can't afford less than excellence.
Never been a fan so I hope they don't........but they will.
