Siran Neal, S, Jacksonville State

Stock is currently very late pick or priority FA. Will be at Senior Bowl.

Has some great instincts, rushes towards the ball, big hitter, but limited speed. Will probably run 4.6-4.65. Great developmental SS prospect. Played corner at Jax State.

Nice find
Great awareness, and big hitter.
Wonder how his hips are?
Do you know his measurables off the top of your head?

He's listed at 6'1", 205. Looks a smidge heavier to me. Can't wait to see how he does at Senior Bowl.

This kid ended up on the Bills. Drafted in the 5th round. Am watching him against the Texans as part of a terrific Bills D. He would have been a great Seahawk.

He also missed the sack on Watson that cost them the game.

IMO, what cost the Bills the game was the blind side unprotected player hit in the OT that cost the Bills something like 45 yds and kept Houska (sic) from kicking the game winner.

Total jinx!

I had a feeling about him, just seemed like a solid defender with good instincts. He's a better player than his draft slot would indicate, and was fantastically versatile at Jacksonville State. Played safety, corner, AND linebacker. I would have thought his success would be at safety, but the Bills put him at corner and he's an above average player there. Also a good special teamer.

Fun fact: he was drafted with at the same slot as Richard Sherman. R5/P154.
