Smaller board, fewer excuses for players

  • I hope when John and Pete talk about taking more guys off their board and making fewer excuses for guys that they still acknowledge the difference between performance and production. It's not always an excuse to consider factors contributing to production or lack thereof, as team, scheme, and context do greatly affect most measurable stats. LSU receivers seems to be a well-known and relatively consistent example of low numbers not indicating lack of talent or even true short-term underachievement.
