A #2 and ... for #27 -- no takers?

We could have Penny much later.

People say this, but there's really no way of knowing.

There is though. Philly traded down at 32!

We could have given Baltimore 27 for whatever they gave Philiy and still got Penny!

This was my “jump the shark” moment with Schneider and Carroll. I’ve been overwhelmingly positive with them, but they can hang their hat on one pick now...Wilson. The draft history of this team since 2013, including penny, is trash.

I used to agree with this, but I no longer trust our FO to make these decisions. They think they're smarter than everyone else who evaluates draft talent. Hasn't really worked out much lately.

Because you were in the room when Baltimore called and the Hawks turned them down?

Quite literally since 2013 they have done a terrible job of judging value.

This is WRONG! Baltimore would have had to pay MORE for #27, and the 5 year payroll for #32 is much cheaper than#27!

You cannot make these statements!

There was calls and they turned them down, Pete wanted Penny. I thought it a reach but the more we know the shorter that reach becomes to more of the right place.

Sony picked at 32 also, Belechik hates fumbles, I wonder if they were the callers that wanted to trade right away after our pick which we turned down.

I don't understand the Michel pick. I like him, but I think he's not quite NFL ready. I think Chubb would have been better.

I think Chubb, much like Todd Gurley, was well on his way back from his knee injury, and will be a better RB.

I knew it would be here. But I still have to post. I HATE THIS TAKE.

"Some no talent blogger who lives in his moms basement" Or "some talking head who went 1-9 in their top 10 mock" Said Penny would be a 2nd or 3rd rd pick. So the coach and GM who brought a superbowl to Seattle are wrong.

Just a DUMB DUMB take.

I get not liking taking a RB. But saying the 2nd best RB in the draft per PC/JS is a reach at 27 cause some idiot who throws darts at a board thinks they could get him later is just silly.

Care to explain the logic here?
