I think Derrick Nnadi is the perfect late round nose tackle. He is an immovable monster. He’ll give virtually nothing else, but he would be fantastic on first and second down.

Missed Nnadi by a single pick at 75. Darn Chiefs!

We got Green instead so Poona is still on the menu.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

It's weird how all 32 teams seem to pass on some good players, letting them make it to UDFA. I wonder if "happenstance" is the cause for some falling, then teams start to out think themselves "If the other 31 teams aren't drafting him, they must know something that we don't."

It can't be that they believe that there are many better players. OR, maybe it's caused by the scouts whose only chance to influence the draft is late, so they're getting some favorite of theirs picked who would otherwise be an UDFA?

Either way, I'm glad we got Ford

Well lets hope he can be a Curly Culp type impact, hell half a Curly Culp would be good.

Poona Ford's 9.3 broad jump and 7.4 time in 3-cone shuttle would have been among top 5 of all DTs at the NFL combine.
