Brett McMurphy is reporting that the Las Vegas Bowl will move from Sam Boyd Stadium to the new Raiders stadium in 2020. It will also no longer feature the Mountain West but will instead pit the Pac 12 against another Power 5 conference, possibly the SEC.

A Pac-12 vs. SEC matchup would be the most intriguing and some sources consider the SEC the favorite to ultimately face the Pac-12 in the Vegas Bowl starting in 2020.

Raiders drawing blood before they are even there, Pac 12 game will be more money for area and TV.

As a follow-up, the Big 10's contract with the San Francisco Bowl expires after the 2019 season so there is speculation that the Mountain West will try to get their champ into that bowl.

Brett McMurphy reported on more changes to the college bowl system coming in 2020 so I've retitled this post. Below is a link to his Facebook post.

https://www.facebook.com/TheBrettMcMurp ... 1377154250

Highlights include:
Possibility of 3 new bowl games (Chicago, Myrtle Beach & ?).
The Pac-12 will get one more bowl tie-in, as will the SEC, C-USA, MAC, and Mountian West.
The most likely matchup for the Las Vegas Bowl will the the Pac-12 #2 or 3 vs the SEC #3 or 4.
The Mountain West is the favorite to replace the Big Ten in the San Francisco Bowl.
The AAC is looking for a deal that will send their conference champ to the Liberty Bowl if it doesn't make the NY6.
