I love this new rule: "The NCAA’s new redshirt rule — which allows players to participate in up to four games without losing their redshirt status — ought to give Tuli Letuligasenoa and Sam Taimani, among others, a chance to provide needed depth to the interior of UW’s line."

I like it too because if a need arises and they are good enough after 4 games
they can keep playing to help the team.
Some players are that good.

A couple years ago the question was "How can Littleton be replaced?"

Hearing a lot of people saying Jake Haener is out playing Browning at camp. If true, theres gonna be some qb battle next year between him, eason, sirmon and yankoff. On top of dylan morris for 2019. Ive jeard haener is undersized, however at the very least its good to know theres a decent back up qb.

I don't know who a "lot of people" are but this is simply not true, both from what I have seen personally and what's been reported: And when he was given opportunities against the first-team defense, he always held his own and sometimes even bested Browning. But those days were few and far between.

Don't want to diminish what he's accomplished, he has elevated himself over two highly regarded national recruits to solidify the No. 2 spot.

Eason will beat out those three and start next year. The real competition will be the next year. UDub is wealthier at QB than just about any other school in the NCAA.

For all the potshots people like to take at him, Browning has a career QB efficiency rating of 153.4, best in UW history.
