Delaware FS-Nasir Adderly, A potential ET clone?

FS/KR-Nasir Adderly, Deleware "THE Fighting Blue Hens", 5-112/200, est. 4.50/40 - (speedy, a thumper & a ball hawk!)He seems to have "closing ability" pretty close to ET, however looks like a better tackler than ET and maybe more agile.

Recently shown as a 1-st round pick in their mock- for the Seahawks- these guys seem extremely high on this FS. I see some favorable similarities to ET that may make him a viable Seahawk pick, especially if he lasts into RD-3, most likely a RD-2 to RD-3 prospect that may be a little overlooked or underestimated currently, he will appear in some post season games and probably will be at the combine. I'm going to keep my eye out for him. Thoughts?

Nice find. That first highlight in the youtube video is amazing. He bowls over a tackler, stays inbound, runs through traffic, and takes it to the house. Just wow!!!

I personally find it difficult to evaluate deep FS play because the player is often out of frame with the camera focusing on the offensive backfield. One must then watch very carefully when the FS comes back into the frame of the camera and he is often hard to pick up especially when you can't catch the number of that freight train. Must be why coaches have their own full field tapes for evaluation purposes. As near as I can tell from tape study Adderly would seem to have a FEW qualities that compare favorably with ET. Also of note, Adderly is a decent kick returner and will likely shine in ST play.

Specifically, closing speed getting to the ball, agility, & play recognition + his tackling ability may even be superior to ET as he wraps up well and has a little THUMP to his game. Long speed likely favors ET, but Adderly wouldn't seem to be too much slower, both seem short area quick. The Post season & combine will answer a lot of questions + level of competition is of some concern to some & that will likely keep him out of rounds 1 & 2.

To me, he's obviously NOT a round 1 type pick, but late day 2 or early day 3, he may be an option for the Seahawks? The post season & combine will undoubtedly provide more information on this prospect. Some other tapes of his play follows for anyone interested in a FS in the draft, even if it's with a round 3/4 Seahawk pick. Perhaps after they trade down and get an additional "bonus" pick in that range they could look at this guy (alternatively -or- additionally they could go with the "overlooked" & super speedy WR-Andy Isabella, whom I like a lot + I think RW would love to have him on his team.)

Glad to see he's in the Senior Bowl. I've been watching it for years. I've noticed that if a player excels in that game, or the East-West Shrine game, they're almost a guarantee to be able to play at the NFL level.

Bowl games are a great indicator also.

I wonder if Tedric Thompson might be better suited for the slot, or as an extra DB on passing downs?
