  • The reasoning is simple. Houston is willing to give Holgorsen $20 million. WVU isn't. Plus, Holgorsen knows that WVU will struggle next year without a replacement for Will Grier so he's leaving now before he gets fired next year when the Mountaineers go 6-6..

  • HOUSTON is a team with a TON of potential.

Anyone that doesn’t agree isn’t paying attention to Texas High School football.

Hell, the Houston area alone has a very deep recruiting pool.

The university has money. (For Football) ie Boosters with big bucks.

Houston has a bunch of the pieces it takes to put the puzzle together.

I’m not a fan by any means but Houston isn’t that far away from being a contender.

I won’t argue the point but a little unbiased research will prove that I’m speaking truth.

This isn't even a lateral move in my opinion.

I disagree. The money and recruiting in Houston>>>WVU.

The thinking that this is a step back for Holgorsen comes from the fact that he's going from a P5 program where he had a chance, if everything fell his way, to compete for a national championship to a G5 program where, even if he goes undefeated, he'll never sniff the CFP.
