Just read the freshly posted CBS mock and their idea for our R1 pick #27 is: Yetur Gross-Matos EDGE
PENN STATE • JR • 6'5" / 264 LBS

PROJECTED TEAM
Seattle
PROSPECT RNK
18th
POSITION RNK
3rd
Jadeveon Clowney was dominant at times but he was mostly going it alone. Gross-Matos is a physical freak who has yet to scratch the surface on just how good he can be.

Couldn't help noticing that 4 of their top 10 pick projections were for O Linemen.

Walter, who has Gross-MAto going to Atlanta at pick 16, has this for us:
Seattle Seahawks: Shane Lemieux, G, Oregon
Will this finally be the year the Seahawks fix their offensive line so that Russell Wilson can be appropriately protected?

Charlie Campbell has reported in the NFL Hot Press that Shane Lemieux has impressed evaluators enough that he could end up being chosen in the first round.

And this for our pick at 59: Seattle Seahawks: Shane Lemieux, G, Oregon
Will this finally be the year the Seahawks fix their offensive line so that Russell Wilson can be appropriately protected?

Charlie Campbell has reported in the NFL Hot Press that Shane Lemieux has impressed evaluators enough that he could end up being chosen in the first round.
Pick 63: Seattle Seahawks: Julian Okwara, DE/OLB, Notre Dame

NIce job massari. Although I don't see much need to add 2 WR I like the look of your specific picks and especially prioritization.
Good piece of work.
All the mocks above put together a pretty good class, especially considering what we might add in FA. You guys are all doing pretty good job at this game.

That would be a ridiculously good draft.

The trade backs on these simulators are far too generous. Also, I like how on R4.27, you offer alternative players. I wonder if it wouldn't be helpful to include 2-3 other players under consideration at each pick. These mock draft simulators' best value is to frame the kinds of talents that might be available at certain spots. Kind of smooths/fills out the difference between likely reality and stand alone expectation. And also tends to highlight how tiers of talent are situated within a draft.

Last year JS's draft value after the trades came out to full first round pick more than what he started with. That's about as happy as I get when he adds another third-round. It seems like it would be impossible to mock, though. I just want to see a lot of dl guys come in.

For those who haven't been using it, PFN's mock draft simulator includes a much more realistic trading algorithm, available here. Teams will trade based on players of need available and stick somewhat close to the classic JJ trade chart in terms of value.

Don't see Trey going that early, he had a really bad combine and it looks like those injuries have really caught up to him.

SEA 12.Isaiah Simmons
OLB Clemson

SEA 66.Brandon Aiyuk
WR Arizona State

SEA 75.Tyler Biadasz
C Wisconsin

SEA 138.Leki Fotu
DT Utah

SEA 162.Lamichal Perine
RB Florida

SEA 175.Ben Bredeson
G Michigan

SEA 177.Anthony Gordon
QB Washington State

Simmons slid to 12 so I traded with colts for 34/44 and gave those up and a 4th to move up to 12. Decent haul considering giving up good picks. Tons of value in the 3 rd round this year imo
