  • I remember a couple years ago there was a lot of discussion on PC sending out tweets with clues in them. Has he done that in the last couple years and if so, has he sent any out yet this year?

  • Not yet this year that I know of, but you're right he has made a game out of that for a few years. I just never could figure out his clues. But to my credit I was trying to recognize clues relating to best players on the board. :(

  • YEs, its was fun......as it often gave song titles as clues.....and you had to determine if the clue was in the lyrics.....title...or the artist.

  • I think you might be onto something CPH. Starts and ends in the trenches under attack.

Gawd why does he do this to us? It's never as easy as that! At least for me. He listens to lots of music I never hear. Amazing guy to be able to play games like this at such a busy time. They must really have their idea of how this is going to go nailed down.

1st clue Straight-line speed, goes down easily.

2nd clue - A Killer with Mixed Emotions

I was thinking skinny white dude, kind of knock kneed, not much straight line speed, can't break tackles, looks like he's 12 years old.

Maybe a kicker in the 2nd!!

They found their moving buddy (partner for a trade back), unless a specific hawk target falls with style all the way to 27.
    or
If someone falls to 27 (my guess is Jordan Love), they have a trade partner who wants to come up to 27.

  • 1st video he mentioned down at the other end of the line. Black panther vid said something about royal lineage challenging, The toy story had a reference about arm span. Could it be Prince Tega Wanogho?

Yea, does anyone ever bother to go back and see if these "clues" make any sense to people not named Pete Carroll?

  • He explains them later. Usually in maibag or something like that.
That guy running along the trench was a messenger. Second vid mostly showed a high flyer.
Not sure what that means, if anything.

If he has to explain them then they're not really clues. We should be able to go ah-ha when he makes the pick. It's like if you have to explain a joke.

  • But...what happens if he puts out all these clues, and the player(s) they wanted is gone?

Is that why they always draft folks before their presumptive slot? Pete and John just making sure they gets their clues correct?

If that ever the case, like, here's a clue for a guy that everyone has going in Round 4 but we draft him in Round 2, then I don't really think you're doing yourself any favors other than being overly cute and gimmicky.
