Guy is like glue in the short to intermediate. Only knock on him if his deep speed, he can be beat, but that its what safeties are for. Desmond Trufant would be great too but he will go early.

I think our need for a slot corner is dire and has been mostly over looked. I would put the need slightly above wide receiver because the slot is what lost us games this year.

Edit, Charles Davis mentions Poyer in the same breath as the honey badger, man would I love to get Tyran Matheiu.

I like Poyer, too, and I think he could develop into a good outside corner, as well. I have him as a 2nd - 3rd round guy, but could be wrong on that. I've only watched a couple games with him playing.

I agree improvement at slot corner is a must have. I hope either WT3 or Lane can be that guy, but there's no guarantee. I think a 3rd or 4th rd corner is as high as they would go, but it's a possibility if the right player is there.

I would love this guy for that role, however I see him going early 2nd round at latest could even sneak into the 1st, been reading he's lighting the senior bowl up both days so far.

I to think a guy for this role is a fairly pressing need. Johnny Adams (Michigan State) and B.W. Webb (William & Mary) could be some good mid round options.
