How great are our cornerbacks?

I keep thinking about 11 million dollars a year for Sherman, and our success at cornerback? I like Sherman as much as the next guy he has been really great. Then again Carroll seems really adept at drafting/coaching cornerbacks like its easy for him. Have the Seahawks been lucky or should we say F that salary and rely on Carroll

With all the hawks have to spend to keep the core together, and the success found at finding cornerbacks. I am thinking lets go with what has been working.

How many 6'3 cornerbacks w/ elite ball skills do you expect to be available now that Seattle has created the new blueprint for building secondaries? There are currently 31 teams in the NFL combing through college film for "Seattle cornerbacks."

Maxwell's contract ends at the same time as Sherman's. Unless you expect two more Pro Bowl CBs to emerge in the next 12 months, you have to pay at least one of them.
